Hello! My name is Janeena. I’m the proud owner of Elite Schnauzers. My husband and I live in the beautiful, quiet area of Wasaga Beach, where our dogs have plenty of space to play, explore, and enjoy life. My journey with this incredible breed began back in 1998, when I brought home my very first Miniature Schnauzer, Spencer! From the moment I met him, I was completely captivated by his affectionate charm, intelligence, and lively personality. Back in the day, my hubby and I ran our own business installing high end kitchens, a company we named Elite Installation. We chose the word Elite because we’ve always believed in delivering the very best quality, care, and craftsmanship in everything we do. That same passion for excellence naturally carried over when I began breeding Miniature Schnauzers, which is how Elite Schnauzers was born, representing the best every way. What started as love for one special dog has grown into a lifelong dedication to the breed. Over the years, I’ve poured my heart into learning about Miniature Schnauzer health, genetics, grooming and temperament to ensure I raise happy, healthy, and well-socialized puppies. At Elite Schnauzers, every dog is family. My puppies are raised in a loving home environment, surrounded by care, attention, and affection. As a Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) registered breeder, I take pride in producing companions that bring lasting joy to families across Canada.

I am so thankful to all of my wonderful customers for their trust and love. Many of them stay in touch with me for years, sharing photos and videos as their puppies grow. It truly warms my heart to see how happy and loved my pups are, going on adventures, becoming part of the family, and living their best lives.

Every puppy we place connects us to another loving home, and being part of their stories is one of the greatest joys of what I do. Along this journey, I’ve met some truly incredible people, families, and friends I will never forget.

When you pick up your happy, healthy Schnauzer puppy ready to join your family, what you see is the finished masterpiece. But behind that tiny life are years of preparation, countless sleepless nights, and a deep, personal connection that cannot be measured in dollars. This is not just breeding; it is my heart, my passion, my life.

Crafting Health and Happiness

Every puppy starts long before birth. My adult Schnauzers are not just dogs; they are family. I have made a considerable investment in bringing these treasured dogs into my life, ensuring they have the best possible start with quality nutrition, veterinary care, and health testing. Each dollar spent, each hour dedicated, is part of the foundation that gives their puppies the best start in life.

When a litter arrives, the work intensifies. Prenatal checkups, specialized diets, supplements, and a climate-controlled environment all ensure the mother and her newborns are safe and healthy. Vaccinations, micro-chipping, registrations, and proper nutrition follow. And if a medical emergency occurs, like an unexpected C-section, the costs and the worry skyrocket.

I do not live off my dogs and every sacrifice is a labor of love. Every sleepless night, every extra hour spent cleaning, preparing, or monitoring is poured out willingly because these puppies deserve the best.

A Life Shaped by Dedication

The greatest cost is my time. My time, energy, and experience matter. Personal sacrifices make this a 24/7 commitment. This is not a hobby I can put down after an eight-hour shift, its 24 hours.

When a new litter arrives, the first crucial weeks demand the most sacrifice. My life does not recognize weekends, holidays, or sick days. I sleep next to the whelping box, rarely catching more than an hour or two of rest, constantly monitoring the newborns to ensure their safety during those critical, fragile days.

The weight of every life is real. I worry for each puppy, celebrate every milestone, and guide them carefully until the day they leave my home. My house reflects this devotion. Washing machines constantly run, pens are scrubbed and disinfected, and a quiet rhythm revolves entirely around their safety and comfort.

Friends and family see less of me, outings are rare, and every decision is timed around the needs of my dogs. Yet every sacrifice is willingly made because nothing compares to the joy of watching a tiny life thrive.
